ECS Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Easy Camera Solutions application ("ECS", "the app"), including both its Lite and Pro editions, published by Easy Tech Solutions ("we", "us"). By installing or using ECS you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Use of the etsproducts.in website is covered separately by the website terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use ECS on devices you own or control, for your own business or personal camera monitoring, with cameras you own or are authorised to operate.
You may not
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- use the app to monitor cameras you do not own or are not authorised to operate, or otherwise to break the law.
Your monitoring is your responsibility
ECS is a tool for viewing cameras and, in the Pro edition, detecting people and matching faces you choose to register. It is not a security guarantee, and detection accuracy is not perfect — it can miss people or mismatch faces. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to camera surveillance and face recognition where you operate your cameras, including any notice or consent requirements, and for not relying on the app as a sole safety or security measure where lives or property are at risk.
Local data and data loss
Camera settings, and — in the Pro edition — detection snapshots and face data, are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app, device loss or failure, operating-system changes, or file corruption can cause permanent loss of this local data. We cannot recover it for you, since we never had a copy.
Price and editions
ECS Lite (live viewing) is free. ECS Pro (adds person detection and face identification) is currently available as a direct download at no charge while we build out a formal licensing model; this may change in a future version, in which case pricing and terms will be shown before any charge applies.
Updates
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, or that are needed for security or platform compatibility. Some updates may be required for the app to keep working.
Warranty disclaimer
ECS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Easy Tech Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use ECS — including any security, safety, or legal consequences of relying on the app's detection or identification features.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by ceasing to use ECS and deleting it. Provisions that by their nature should survive — disclaimers, liability limits, governing law — survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
